About Loose Change
Background & Philosophy.
Loose Change Ventures founder & CEO Matt DuFour has spent the past 20+ years working at the intersection of art and commerce. Whether on the agency side with the Cornerstone Agency, the brand side with Hard Rock Hotels, ReverbNation CONNECT, or Virgin Hotels, or as an entrepreneur with En Prise Entertainment and UR Chicago Magazine, Matt has consistently demonstrated a talent for identifying artists at the forefront of cultural relevance—and helping them build sustainable careers by connecting them with brands and audiences seeking genuine creative expression.
In addition to launching Loose Change in 2020, Matt served as Head of A&R for UK-based music publisher Sentric, where he led efforts to expand their North American presence and signed Rough Trade Publishing to a global administration deal. That experience laid the foundation for a strategic partnership: Halo Music, a boutique publishing company and joint venture with Sentric, designed to support a new generation of songwriters through forward-thinking publishing strategies. halomusic.us
Loose Change Ventures was created to identify and invest in promising creative entrepreneurs—particularly those who may fall outside the traditional VC mold—while offering more than just capital. With a hands-on, collaborative approach, Loose Change helps founders build meaningful, lasting companies rooted in cultural value and commercial potential.
Among its portfolio is Easy Does It Records, an independent label committed to thoughtful artist development and long-term creative partnerships. easydoesitrecords.com
